Direct Connection Required: For optimal performance, the SuperDrive should be plugged directly into your PC or Mac’s USB port. It often fails to function correctly when connected through passive USB hubs because it requires more power (approx. 900mA) than standard hubs provide.
Software Integration: Fully integrated with Windows & macOS; simply insert a disc to trigger the “Eject” command from your Mac keyboard or right click on drive icon in Windows Explorer and select “Eject” from the popup menu, as the drive itself does not have a physical eject button.
