Gaming System Test & Diagnose Service
(This service covers up to 3 Hours of thorough testing)
This is for gaming systems that are experiencing issues when playing games including KTD (Kicked To Desktop) Game Crashes & Other issues happening when playing games.
We find many issues that happen when playing games usually are a result of an issue with a game, settings, mod packs, game cheat engines or hacks, cracked/pirated games, driver or firmware issues, corrupted operating system caused by incorrect game or driver installation.
These issues are not hardware related issues and may require additional time one on one by a technician to try to replicate the fault so it may be rectified where possible. This may result in games having to be removed. Issues that are not hardware related are not covered by hardware manufacturers warranty as it is caused by no fault of the hardware but instead by an issue mentioned above.
Items outside hardware warranty may have incur additional costs to fix as warranty does not cover non hardware issues like software problems including any games, drivers & mod packs added/installed after the system has been setup! Issues caused by these items are not warranty issues and may incur charges to correct!
This type of testing requires exclusive attention of a technician through the whole testing & diagnosing process which can be several hours. We do not charge by the hour for this testing, instead we apply a capped fee making sure this option is affordable for all customers!
During the process, we use high capacity UPS power supplies while testing your hardware to ensure stable power supply.
NB: If you purchased your hardware elsewhere we might even be able to help you with your warranty as many quality brand name components come through a handful of importers/suppliers that & The Computer Guy deals with many of same companies as other resellers regularly.
If we can verify your hardware is under warranty and you would like us to assist sending it directly to the supplier for warranty there is an additional fee of $110 which covers packaging and shipping to the supplier, emails/phone calls to follow up with them and return shipping to us on your behalf.
